The Big 3, new video shorts

One of the magazines I write for, The Kid's Ark out of Texas was recently asked to develop a new 30 minute weekly TV program for kids in their region. Since I'm their nature columnist, they asked me to produce a 4-5 minute segment for their program based on my nature column. In February 2009 we set out to write, develop, film and produce the pilot episode of our new segment called "The Big 3". By early March we had our pilot episode complete.

Each episode follows your host, ME, as we look for clues about today's "Big 3", three items about the subject we're learning about that day. Viewers follow me as we explore nature while discovering new truths about God and his creation. At the end we review to see if the kids learned what today's "Big 3" are.

In March 2009 we wrote and filmed two additional episodes while in Florida. During the early part of April we will be doing post-production on the 2 new Florida episodes and we will start writing 3 more episodes. We need to have 6 initial episodes completed by the end of July 2009.

In the pilot episode our subject was SNOW. We filmed various scenes in interesting locations such as skiing and snowmobiling. In our second and third episodes were filmed in Florida.

I'm always amazed at all the neat stuff God created. It's out there waiting to be explored!
